Legal Information & Referrals
The Hispanic Family Foundation understands that immigrants face many challenges. We provide access to legal advice and representation to solve legal issues through government agencies, nonprofits, alternative conflict resolution agencies, pro bono attorneys, private law firms and more.
Our service is informative and effective with the goal to help the individual or family find access to affordable legal resources to solve their case.
This is what we do:
- Private meetings (interview, information, referrals one-on-one) that run 30 min to 1-hour.
- Help individual understand his/her case and options.
- Offer relevant information packets, including pamphlets and websites.
- A Legal Aid Director can help the client find legal services and/or legal representation if they meet the low income qualifications.
In the past two years, we helped approximately 500 people to understand their cases and the options to navigate the legal system within the State of Tennessee.
